At DentiCare, we believe every person deserves a smile they are proud of. As we move through 2026, our Dublin clinic is focusing on four major pillars of care: transparency, local reliability, advanced technology, and affordability.

The Professional Consultation: Seeing the Person

We believe a successful transformation begins with a conversation. Our complimentary consultation is designed to give us the “full picture” of your dental health.

  • Patient-Centered: We see you as a person, not just a procedure. We take the time to understand your goals and what treatment is truly suitable for you.

  • Transparent Pricing: During this visit, we will discuss our current discounts and provide a clear, written quote.

  • Note on Tax Relief: Please note that while our specialist treatments qualify for tax relief, the initial dental consultation itself is not eligible for the Med 2 tax rebate.

Dental Implants: Local Quality vs. "Dental Tourism"

Dental implants are one of the most important and complex treatments in modern dentistry. We often see patients who have gone overseas to places like Turkey only to return with painful, costly complications.

  • Why Stay in Ireland? If something goes wrong, you need your dentist nearby. We provide expert follow-up care right here in Dublin.

  • Best Prices in the City: We offer one of the most competitive rates in the capital, with Dental Implants starting from only €1,000.

  • Med 2 Relief: You can claim 20% tax relief on the cost of your dental implants.

Advanced Braces: Dublin’s Best Value

Whether you have minor crowding or complex alignment issues, our dedicated team in Dublin is equipped with the latest orthodontic technology to treat any problem.

  • Incredible Pricing: We offer some of the best prices in Dublin, with Braces starting from just €451 per jaw.

  • Flexible Payment Plans: We understand that braces are a big investment. Exclusively for our orthodontic patients, we offer flexible payment plans to help you spread the cost of your treatment interest-free.

  • Tax Back: Braces qualify for the 20% Med 2 tax relief, making your new smile even more affordable.

Aesthetic Composite Bonding: The "5-for-1" Transformation

Composite bonding is a quick, painless, and highly aesthetic way to fix chips, gaps, or discoloration. It delivers amazing results in just one visit.

  • Unbeatable Value: Our bonding is so affordable that for the price of a single traditional crown, we can often perform 4 composite bondings.

  • Pricing: Get a Hollywood-ready look with Composite Bonding starting from €150 per tooth.

  • Save More: Bonding for non-routine purposes is eligible for 20% tax relief, allowing you to claim back a fifth of the cost!

Comprehensive FAQ (Dublin Patient Guide)

Do I need a referral from a general dentist?

No, you do not need a referral. You can book directly with us. However, we always recommend regular check-ups with your general dentist to maintain your overall oral health.

Absolutely not. As a professional dental clinic, we prioritize patient safety and clinical excellence. We do not treat patients “through the phone.” A face-to-face consultation is required to take X-rays and 3D scans so we can see the full picture and provide a quote that is medically sound.

While Invisalign prices vary depending on the case, we offer some of the most competitive rates in Dublin. Our braces start from just €451 per jaw, and we will provide a specific comparison for you during your visit.

Yes! You can claim 20% tax relief via the Med 2 form on braces, dental implants, and composite bonding. Please note that the initial consultation itself is not eligible for this relief.

To keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, we offer flexible payment plans exclusively for our orthodontic (braces) treatments. For dental implants and composite bonding, payment is required at the time of service.

Composite bonding is highly affordable, starting from €150 per tooth. It is so cost-effective that you can often get 5 composite bondings for the price of just one single crown, with immediate aesthetic results.

Yes, we understand the busy schedules of working Dubliners! We offer weekend appointments to ensure you can get your treatment without missing work.

Your Guide: How to Claim 20% Tax Back on Dental Treatment

At DentiCare, we want to make your treatment as affordable as possible. In Ireland, you can claim 20% tax relief on “non-routine” dental treatments. This means for every €1,000 you spend on qualifying care, you can get €200 back from the government

1. Which Treatments Qualify? Most of our specialist treatments in 2026 are eligible for this relief:

  • Braces / Orthodontics (Invisalign, Metal, or Ceramic).

  • Dental Implants (including related bone grafting).

  • Composite Bonding (when used for non-routine restoration).

  • Crowns, Bridges, and Root Canal Treatments.

  • Note: Routine care like check-ups (consultations), cleanings, fillings, and simple extractions do not qualify for tax relief.

2. The Med 2 Form (Your Receipt) The Med 2 form is the official document Revenue requires as proof of your treatment.

  • We do the work: Once your treatment is complete (or at the end of the tax year), our team will fill out and sign the Med 2 form for you.

  • Keep it safe: You do not need to send this form to Revenue when you claim. However, you must keep it in your records for 6 years, as Revenue may ask to see it if they audit your claim.

3. How to Claim Your Money Back The quickest way to get your refund is online through the Revenue myAccount portal.

  • Log in: Go to Revenue.ie and sign into myAccount.

  • Review your Tax: Click on the “Review your tax” link under PAYE Services.

  • Select the Year: Choose the year you paid for your treatment (you can go back up to 4 years).

  • Complete Income Tax Return: Select “Complete Income Tax Return.”

  • Health Expenses: On the “Tax Credits & Reliefs” page, find Health Expenses and click “Add.”

  • Enter Amount: Enter the total amount you paid for “Non-Routine Dental” (the amount shown on your Med 2 form).

  • Submit: Confirm your details and submit. Most refunds are processed and in your bank account within 5 working days.

Important Reminders for 2026:

  • Payment Plans: If you are on a payment plan for Braces, you claim for the amount you actually paid within that calendar year.

  • Insurance: If you have dental insurance (like VHI, DeCare, or Laya) that covers part of the cost, you can only claim tax relief on the remaining balance that you paid out of your own pocket.

  • Family Claims: You can claim relief for treatments you paid for on behalf of a spouse, child, or dependent.

  • Need help with your form? Ask our reception team during your next visit. We are happy to help you get your 20% back!
